Demand has been significant on the first day that applications have been open. Given the current high demand, libraries are encouraged to support reinforcing the messaging that eligible applicants will not miss out on the rebate – applications remain open until 31 July.
With some customers experiencing difficulties accessing the website and, potentially, the app, it is recommended that they try again later. The Department of Government Services have published the following social media posts on Monday 1st June 2026. They will continue to update their posts as required to provide the latest information.
