Public Libraries Victoria supports a range of projects across the state, each designed to enhance the services we provide to our communities.
Return Yourself to the Library
Return Yourself to the Library is a state-wide campaign developed by a working group within Public Libraries Victoria’s LibMark Special Interest Group to help public library services around Victoria to promote their service as a valuable community facility that is safe for users to return to as pandemic restrictions ease.
BIG Summer Read
A Victorian Statewide Reading Program 1 December 2021 – 31 January 2022
The Big Summer Read, developed by the Children’s and Youth Services Special Interest Group (CYS SIG) aims to slow the slide by engaging children and their families in a fun and dynamic campaign supported by Beanstack, a user-friendly website (with an intuitive mobile app) that makes it easy to register, track reading and earn digital ‘badges’ as rewards for reaching reading milestones.
