Public Libraries Victoria is delighted to advise that we have set the date for our next statewide conference to be held on Mon 7 and Tues 8 September 2026 at Rydges Melbourne.
With the theme of ‘Libraries – Loud & proud’, the conference working group is already engaged in planning and preparation for what promises to be an excellent and affordable opportunity for sharing, networking, professional development and celebration.
We encourage you to start thinking about how you might contribute to the conference. Do you have an outstanding program you’d like to share as a panel presentation or lightning talk? Have you recently heard from an outstanding and relevant keynote speaker whom you’d recommend to us? Do you have any bright ideas for making the conference engaging and fun?
Call for abstracts and registration information will be forthcoming. In the meantime, we want to make sure the dates are in your calendars, and that you have advance notice to plan for conference attendance in your 2026-27 professional development plans and budgets.
