Readers Are Writers (RAW) is a creative writing workshop that delivers inclusive, engaging writing sessions that turn readers into confident storytellers.
RAW workshops are designed for:
- Adult and mixed-age community audiences
- First-time writers and experienced readers
- People who love books but think they ‘can’t write’
No prior writing experience required.

Readers Are Writers (RAW) is a proven, highly engaging storytelling program created and facilitated by Dr Rachel Matthews, award-winning Melbourne author and RMIT writing lecturer. Rachel has delivered RAW Australia-wide and internationally.
