Greater Dandenong Libraries is invites all public library staff to attend Dandy‑Con, Greater Dandenong’s popular comic and pop culture festival, returning on Saturday 11 April 2026, 11am–4pm. This free, all‑ages event takes place across Dandenong Library, Drum Theatre, Walker Street Gallery and Arts Centre, and Harmony Square.
Dandy‑Con offers valuable professional learning through first-hand exposure to contemporary pop culture, gaming, cosplay, creative workshops and large‑scale community engagement. Staff can explore graphic novel and art stalls, observe interactive programming such as drawing workshops, tabletop role-play, technology activations and gaming experiences, and see how partnerships and immersive experiences are delivered across multiple venues.
