The Inspiring Victoria Partnership Board invites public libraries to apply for seed funding to run a public event, activity or program during  National Science Week (15-23 August 2026).

With applications opening on 7 July 2025, grants are a minimum of $1,000 up to $2,000 each (GST free). Organisations may submit multiple applications for different proposals. Applications close COB Friday, July 17.

We appreciate that timing is tight this year. The application procedure has been simplified to make it as accessible as possible, while maintaining criteria essentials.

Previously, National Science Week has featured workshops, lectures, demonstrations, exhibitions, festivals, competitions and film screenings, but as long as your proposed event meets the eligibility criteria, we would love to hear about it. Information on the application guidelines and resources to assist you to apply are found on the Inspiring Victoria Grants page.
