Get ready for Victoria’s vehicle registration rebate – Webinar for Library Staff – FRIDAY 29 MAY at 10am

From 1 June, Victorian vehicle owners will be able to apply for 20% back on their vehicle registration.

How the rebate will work

Eligible Victorians will be able to apply for rebates on up to 2 eligible vehicles registered in their name.

To apply, applicants will need to set up a Service Victoria account and provide:

• their vehicle registration number
• a Victorian driver license number or VicRoads customer number
• their full name
• bank account details (BSB and account number).

Webinar for Public Libraries Victoria members

We anticipate you may receive enquiries from community members seeking information or support to complete their application. To help you prepare, the Department of Government Services is hosting an online information session for library staff on Friday 29 May at 10.00am.

During the session, you’ll learn:

• how the vehicle registration rebate works
• what applicants need to do before they apply
• how to help community members set up a Service Victoria account
• where to direct people for further information and support.

There will also be an opportunity for you to ask questions.
