Congratulations to Nerida Dye from Campaspe Regional Library on being awarded the 2021 Barrett Reid Scholarship. Valued at up to $20,000 the Scholarship supports the professional development of emerging leaders in the Victorian public library sector.
Nerida will use her Scholarship funds to undertake a research program into library involvement in social prescribing programs and develop a best practice model for Campaspe and other library services in Victoria.
The Barrett Reid Scholarship is presented by the Library Board of Victoria, the State Library’s board. Board member Maxine McKew presented the Scholarship to Nerida at the State Library on Wednesday 2 March. Maxine and Nerida are pictured with Sarah Slade, Acting CEO of the State Library.
