Good Flock, a national not-for-profit working to improve the culture and experience of ageing in our communities is running a campaign – Flock It! They are searching Victoria for people, organisations, communities and creators who are showing more hopeful ways to grow older, connect across generations and care for one another. There is a $20,000 prize pool, and submissions close 20 November.
We know that libraries are trusted, intergenerational community spaces, often with an abundance of connections to people and local groups – something we really admire. So in the hopes of uncovering more community-led initiatives, creative projects and extraordinary individuals that might otherwise remain under the radar, we’re reaching out to libraries across Victoria to help us spread our campaign even further.
