Across Victoria, public libraries have created a legacy of innovating to engage with and support our communities – from makerspaces and tool libraries, to school holiday events for kids of all ages and digital literacy programs, not to mention an evolving and current library catalogue exploring emerging critical issues. These free and welcoming facilities have long been places of possibility in our communities.
In this Innovation Talks event you’ll learn about three examples across the state where libraries are delivering an extraordinary Comic-Con style event. These events often boast exciting activities like video and tabletop gaming, cosplay competitions, manga drawing classes, costume parades and more, attracting both locals and visitors of all ages.
