The Making of the Victorian Pride Centre book is a 140pp book written by Dr Judith Buckrich, a social historian who has written 15 books each with a social history theme.

The book is divided into two parts: the first is a history of the LGBTIQ+ community in Victoria, with some international context, and the second part chronicles the concept and development of the Victorian Pride Centre.

The Centre has now won a number of Victorian and national design and architectural awards; its architecture is featured throughout the book with full page photos.

The Pride Fund commissioned the book to chronicle the challenge to fund, scope, design, build, and tenant the Centre.

The Board of the Pride Fund would love to see it placed in every public library in Victoria.

It has been published in soft and hard cover versions, and discounts are available for bulk copies.

80% of all  proceeds go to the Victorian Pride Centre and 20% to The Pride Fund, which is a Public Ancillary Fund governed by the Australian Charities Commission.
