Stella Day Out is a free one-day literary festival that celebrates and promotes the outstanding contributions of women and non-binary writers to Australian literature.

To mark the festival’s first year, Stella has curated four events that will inspire everyone who enjoys reading and writing.

Arts journalist, editor, critic, and poet Thuy On will speak on the festival’s opening panel discussing the current poetry landscape in Australia.

The 2023 Stella Prize winner, Sarah Holland-Batt, will close Stella Day Out.

Other carefully curated panels will examine graphic novels, non-fiction and the history and importance of the Stella Prize.

Join Eloise Grills, Monica Dux, Jo Case, Fiona Sweet and many more on Thursday 9 November at Treasury Theatre (1 Macarthur Place, Melbourne) from 10.30AM for what promises to be a memorable day.

See the Stella Day Out program and grab your free tickets.
