Join the spectacular act of unity that is Midsumma Pride March 2025
Midsumma Pride March is a signature event of Melbourne’s Midsumma festival. It’s a wonderful day where over 10,000 marchers strut down Fitzroy Street in St Kilda, cheered on by over 45,000 people who line the paths and balconies to show their support.
The next Midsumma Pride March will be held on Sunday 2 February 2025.
As the Midsumma Pride March website says, ‘We march because we are fierce, fabulous, loved, diverse and proud. Join the Midsumma Pride March to march with those who can, and in solidarity for those who cannot.’
In keeping with our practice of recent years, we will be organise a libraries contingent to march behind the ‘Libraries Change Lives’ banner. All library staff, families, friends and pets are welcome to attend.
It is truly wonderful to experience the support and love for libraries from the crowds.
