Public libraries – notably narrm ngarrgu and Library at the Dock – topped the Guardian Australia’s list of havens for remote workers in Melbourne’s CBD.

Given that we offer free, safe, welcoming climate controlled spaces – with the option of social connection – these results are not surprising. And they strengthen our case for ongoing investment in public libraries.
