Public Libraries Victoria was delighted to launch our Strategic Plan 2023-27 at the PLV General Meeting of library managers on Tues 20 June 2023.
The plan is the result of a review by consultant Jeanette Pope of the following:
- State Library Triennium work
- Simon Waller Strategic Issues Paper
- PLV Strategic Plan 2019-2022
- PLV resources allocation
The PLV Executive Committee advised Jeanette that we were not looking for an overhaul of our 2019-2022 strategic plan – we believe it remains largely relevant – so much as a refinement: a sense of what PLV should keep doing, do differently or stop doing.
The final plan is the result of Jeanette’s review, a workshop with the PLV Executive Committee members, further feedback by Exec Com members on the draft, and circulation of the penultimate draft to library managers.
