New chapter for Boroondara Library Service and Kew Library
Community consultation is now underway for the redevelopment of Kew Library, with feedback invited until 29 September 2023. The consultation will assist in helping create a library service that is important to the local community now and into the future.
As one of Melbourne’s oldest public libraries that has operated continuously since August 1860, this redevelopment will provide the local community a modern purpose-built library that takes advantage of its proximity to the adjacent green spaces of Petrie Square and Alexandra Gardens.
