The Libraries grant round for National Science Week is open from 1 May. Libraries and community organisations are invited to apply for seed funding to run a public event, activity or program during National Science Week (10-18 August 2024).

Grants are up to $1000 each (GST free). Organisations may submit multiple applications for different proposals.  Proposed events must meet eligibility requirements (accessed from link below) and case studies, activities and resources are available to assist.

Libraries are encouraged to partner with other community or civic organisations, if it helps with resourcing and delivery of events.

Applications close 31st May.

This year, the grants are not supporting school events with this funding – events targeting kids are awesome, but need to be offered for all families (or a specific equity group). Schools have access to separate grant funding for National Science Week.
