The timing of this article couldn’t be better. Ahead of the Victorian state budget in May, we need to promote the importance of libraries now more than ever, and the need to sustain if not grow funding to meet the increasing demands from our communities.

Corangamite Moyne Libraries has set a great example. PLV encourages as many Victorian libraries as possible to approach the media with stories to highlight needs in your community and the resources your library needs to provide the relevant services. You may find it helpful to refer to the PLV State Budget Submission.
