The Melbourne City of Literature has announced that their innovative networking event, the International Literary Programmers Roundtable, will return after a three-year hiatus. Applications are now open for Victorian literary professionals who work in the literary sector – including public libraries – and delivers programs to an audience.

Running from 2-7 October, the International Literary Programmers Roundtable is an event that combines Melbourne’s highlights with a range of professional opportunities. This initiative will be co-run with the Wheeler Centre.

Applications are now open for any Melbourne professional who works in the literary sector and delivers programs to an audience. They could be a festival director, librarian, bookshop programmer or any other professional that fits the above description.

This program is free. Unwaged individuals or employees from small funded organisations will be offered a honorarium to cover the costs of doing the program. Regional applicants will have their travel covered.
