Victoria Legal Aid has published a new edition of our free booklet Drugs, the law and safer substance use. Libraries are invited to order copies for their brochure areas or community members.
Produced in partnership with the Department of Health, the booklet may help people who use drugs and their families, support people and workers. It has information about:
- laws relating to using, possessing and trafficking drugs
- your rights
- being arrested and bail
- drug diversion and Drug Court
- safer substance use, preventing overdose and what to do if someone overdoses
- where to get help.
