Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in Library Programs, Services and Spaces: Survey for library staff
Who are we?
Project team members work in libraries across Victoria and have formed a project group as part of the team’s involvement in the Public Libraries Victoria/State Library Victoria 2023 Shared Leadership Program. The team comprises:

What is the purpose of the survey?
The project outcome will be to document what libraries are doing to achieve Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and to share this information to equip and empower our sector. The intention is that the findings will support library staff to provide diverse, equitable and inclusive programs, services, and spaces for their communities. This survey will inform the direction of the project, and we value your time and contribution.
Who is the survey for?
This completely voluntary survey is intended for staff who design, develop and/or deliver programs, services, and/or spaces for their community. Please share this survey with any relevant colleagues. Multiple staff from the same library service may respond and is highly encouraged as more data will inform a deeper analysis.
Will the information provided be confidential?
By completing this survey, you consent to your responses being included in the final report. All information provided will be deidentified, unless otherwise agreed with the respondent.
What will happen with the information I provide?
All data collected will help the project team identify potential case studies.
