The Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA) is pleased to invite you to take the Professional Pathways consultation phase one survey.
This is your opportunity to take part in shaping the future of the Library and Information Services (LIS) workforce and provide valuable feedback on the prototype Framework, professional recognition and continuing professional development in the LIS sector.

The survey will be open until 2 November 2022.
This survey is part of a consultation phase for the ALIA Professional Pathways initiative and will provide ALIA with valuable baseline quantitative data on the key consultation questions. Ahead of the taking survey, ALIA’s encourage you to look over the Professional Pathways Consultation Paper if you have not done so already.
The survey is designed to capture statistical data rather than comments, but we welcome your commentary and feedback on any of the questions raised. If you would like to provide written feedback, please respond to the Consultation Paper via a written submission or the five-question feedback form, which are accessible on the Professional Pathways webpage.
Results and data from this consultation phase will be analysed and feed into a Consultation Report to be published in early 2023, and underpin a second consultation phase in mid-2023.
