Announcing the new Community Programs SIG and first meeting date!

Hi folks,

I am excited to announce the launch of a new Public Libraries Victoria (PLV) Special Interest Group (SIG) focusing on all things community programming! The Community Programs SIG aims to build connected, capable, and creative communities across the life-long spectrum via library programs and events. We share ideas and promote best practice in community programming across the state.

We are currently seeking expressions of interest for membership. If you are interested in joining, please email me at the address below. It’s a good idea to seek approval from your manager but you are no longer required to fill in a permission form to join a SIG.

Our first meeting will be December 2nd 10.00am – 12.30pm over Zoom. Please refer to the post linked below for the Zoom meeting details. Please note, you will need to be signed in to the PLV member portal to access.
