LibMark in Lockdown Conference

October 12, 2020 @ 8:50 am - 3:00 pm

We’re delighted to announce that registration is now open for LibMark in Lockdown: an online Library Marketing conference.

LibMark in Lockdown will be held 8.50 am – 3.00 pm, 12 October 2020. Coming to you live via Zoom! No need to leave your comfy couch or library workroom, just Zoom in and learn all about library advocacy.

BargainTickets will only be $20 per person, so book your whole team.

Call out – We are looking for presenters for our Lightening Talks. Presentations will be online and only need to be 5 – 10 minutes long with questions time at the end. They could be on any new marketing initiatives you are using/have learned during lockdown. The more creative the better!

Send your ideas to [email protected] and we’ll be in touch.

Keynote speakers
Ned Potter, author of The Library Marketing Toolkit, will present a hands-on, interactive workshop breaking down library marketing into manageable chunks, free of jargon and gimmicks. Learn how to tie your library promotion together into effective marketing campaigns.

Publishing and Communications Coordinator at ALIA and Editor of INCITE magazine, Andrew Finegan will outline how and why ALIA engages in library advocacy. He will also discuss the stages of planning and delivering a campaign, and how public libraries can benefit most by participating in campaigns and demonstrating value to their communities and stakeholders.

Dr Angela Savage, inaugural CEO of Public Libraries Victoria (PLV) and award winning Melbourne writer will be joining us, as well as Chris Buckingham, President of PLV and CEO of Casey Cardinia Libraries, who will provide an update on the exciting things happening at PLV.

We cannot wait to see you there!
