Voting is now open for the 2026 Treaty Elections

Voting in the 2026 Treaty Elections has now opened and will be open until Sunday 12th April. This is a historic moment for First Peoples in Victoria to choose who will represent them and enact Australia’s first Treaty.

And for allies, the First People’s Assembly Victoria is looking for volunteers to do shifts at the Assembly Office in Collingwood at the following times:

  • Thursday 26th March, 2-6pm (4 hours)
  • Tuesday 31st March, 2-6.30pm (4.5 hours)
  • Wednesday 8th April, 3-6.30pm (3.5 hours)
  • Thursday 9th April, 2 -6.30pm (4.5 hours)
  • Friday 10th April 11.30am-4pm (4.5 hours)
