Peter Hitchener Reads
Peter Hitchener or ‘Hitch’ as he is affectionately known, is celebrating over 50 years at the Nine television network this year and over 20 years as presenter of the Nine News week night bulletin in Melbourne. In 2017, Peter was awarded the Order of Australia Medal for his services to broadcast media and the wider community. In 2022 he was crowned the King of Moomba. Join him in a light-hearted and fun reading from P.G. Wodehouse as we celebrate Australian Reading Hour and he shares the many experiences in his media career. This event is in-person at Nunawading library and also online via Zoom.
