Permanent, Part time – 16 hours average per week including 1 in 3 rostered Saturdays (Bayswater)
Wednesday 12noon – 8pm 7.25 hours
Friday 8:45am – 5:30pm 8 hours
Saturday (1 in 3) 9:45am – 12 noon 2.25 hours
Band 3 Level A-D (Dependent on skills and experience) $65,688 – $72,370 (Dependent on skills and experience)

About the Role
We are seeking a customer‑focused, community‑minded person who enjoys helping people and creating welcoming, safe and inclusive public spaces.
Someone who will contribute to a positive customer experience by providing reliable, high‑quality service and supporting the effective day‑to‑day operation of the branch.
The ideal candidate will be:
*Passionate about helping people and creating positive experiences.
*Skilled in customer service with strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
*Comfortable using technology and supporting others to do the same.
*Organised, adaptable, and able to manage multiple tasks.

Key Selection Criteria
*Demonstrated understanding of customer service excellence in a busy public-facing
environment.
*Strong inter-personal skills, including the ability to respond promptly and courteously to
customers who are accessing a diverse range of services.
*Ability to work in a fast-moving digital environment, and assist members of the public to
utilise Library technology.
*Sound written and verbal communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with
people of all ages and from diverse backgrounds.
* A current Working with Children Check and Driver’s Licence are required (or willingness to obtain).
