Saturday (1 in 3) 9:45am – 12 noon 2.25 hours
Band 4 Level A-D (Dependent on skills and experience) $73,281 – $79,619 (Dependent on skills and experience)

About the Role
We’re seeking someone who is enthusiastic, flexible, and love working with children.
As a Children’s Services Officer, you will play a key role in delivering engaging programs and services that inspire a love of reading and learning in children and their families. You’ll be part of a supportive team that values creativity, inclusion, and innovation.
In this role, you will:
* Deliver vibrant and interactive storytime sessions featuring reading, rhyme, music, and movement.
* Plan and support outreach events, festivals, and STEAM-based programs that spark curiosity and creativity.
* Curate and promote children’s collections that reflect the diversity and interests of our communities.
* Build strong partnerships with families, schools, and local organisations to support early literacy.
* Provide exceptional customer service in a welcoming, self-service library environment.
* Act as Officer-in-Charge when required, ensuring smooth branch operations and a safe space for all.

* A current Working with Children Check is required (or willingness to obtain).
