About the Role:
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Senior Manager People and Culture will play a pivotal role in shaping the organisation’s workforce and culture. This role is perfect for a strategic thinker with exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills.
You will lead workforce development, employee relations, and change management initiatives, ensuring compliance with Industrial Relations, Occupational Health & Safety, legislative, and regulatory requirements.
You will work lead the Roster Support team and work in close collaboration with the rest of the Senior Management team, Executive Leadership, and the entire Leadership team.
Our network consists of 14 libraries, three Reading Rooms and an outreach Flexi service. You will oversee workforce development, employee relations and operations for approximately 120 full-time, part-time and casual staff.

Key Responsibilities:
Drive strategic workforce development and planning.
Lead employee relations and culture-building initiatives.
Manage change effectively across the organisation.
Ensure compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements for a contemporary workforce.

About You:
You are an experienced professional with a thorough understanding of Industrial Relations and Occupational Health & Safety. You thrive in a leadership role where strategic thinking meets practical implementation, and you are committed to fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture.
