About the Role

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for experienced professionals to join our team as Casual Teachers and Assessors for the BSB50520 Diploma of Library and Information Services.
At Swinburne, we are committed to delivering high-quality vocational education and training that prepares students for successful careers in the library and information services sector. We’re now expanding our teaching team on a casual basis to support the delivery of this qualification at our Outer East campuses (Croydon and/or Wantirna).

About You
To be suitable for this role, you will demonstrate:
• The ability to deliver high-quality, innovative teaching and learning across various modes
• A commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues
• A proactive approach to continuous improvement and development of teaching and assessment materials
Qualifications
To be considered, you must hold:
• Relevant qualifications in Library and Information Services
• One of the following teaching qualifications:
o TAE40116 or TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or
o TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment plus:
§ TAELLN411 (or TAELLN401A), and
§ TAEASS502 (or TAEASS502A or TAEASS502B)
If you do not currently hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Swinburne can support your enrolment in the TAE40122, which is covered under the Free TAFE scheme. Note that applicants with higher education qualifications are still required to obtain this certificate, as it is a regulatory requirement.
