Libraries Victoria

Sharing resources across Victoria

Libraries Victoria provides shared services for libraries across Victoria.

The consortium approach to shared services has a long history within the Victorian public library sector. Libraries Victoria is committed to continuing this approach, developing and expanding the range of services available to all libraries.

Member libraries may choose to share their resources by making their collections available to other library users within the consortium, or operate as stand-alone services, while still receiving the benefits of a shared library system and database.
