The Embrace Collective invites interested Victorian public libraries to register for a free screening of the film, Embrace Kids, at your library.
The Embrace Collective is a non-profit organisation established by Australian of the Year Taryn Brumfitt and body image expert Dr Zali Yager. Their mission is to inspire every young person around the world to Embrace their bodies, and to create body-image safe environments for them to learn, grow and thrive in.
Thanks to a grant from the Australian Government for their Embrace Kids Suite of programs, the Embrace Collective can offer free screenings of the Embrace Kids film to interested Victorian public libraries for screening up until December 31, 2024.
Embrace Kids is an uplifting and educational documentary that shares diverse stories from young people and public figures. The film covers crucial topics such as body image, bullying, gender identity, and advocacy. It’s designed for children aged 9-14 but is also engaging for adolescents, teachers, and parents. You can view the trailer for the film at The Embrace Hub.
